Frodsham’s St George’s Day couldn’t have been any better and well attended by so many organisations within the town, community volunteers and residents. Starting from the Community Centre, the parade walked side by side as we proceeded to St Laurence Church, followed by a convoy of bands, the British Legion, Round table, all four primary schools, Helsby High School, Frodsham Town Council, the arts centre and more …… as well as the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs with us too. Which I was delighted to be part of, to represent Frodsham Youth Association.
At the church we sung hymns, afterwards which each of the organisations coming forward to the church podium to give a quick sentence summing up the organisation and placing a message, in the shape of a leaf, on a tree. To conclude with ‘God save the Queen’ and afternoon tea at the Frodsham golf club.
