On wednesday night, 14th december, I addressed the labour Cheshire west and chester cabinet to hand over a petition signed by over 1000 people calling for CCTV cameras and traffic management technology, not just that of Cheshire West, but also the crime commissioner too! We in Frodsham are no stranger to the massive traffic problems and chaos that is caused when the M56 is closed, which has a detrimental affect on our services, economy,  air quality…. as well as a recently high amount to of crime happening in from too, from  brake insurance to people’s properties, daylight burglaries on our shops and antisocial behaviour. Irs now time to call for action, enough is enough! Whilst our Cheshire Police colleagues respond well, they are not helped by the absence of CCTV in key spots across the town. Watch the Cabinet meeting 30 mins into the video for my piece.
