A56 Daffodil Planting
12th December 2016
In took four consecutive sessions of dedicated volunteers and with the help of the KDE lads, up in the early hours of the morning, with Ron Sayle – Scout leader – who arranged it all; to plant some 7,000 daffodil bulbs along the stretch of road between Helsby High School and the Netherton pub. We even seen some of our town councillors, myself and others, as well as our Borough councillors who also took part. Thanks in to the bulb donations from Cheshire West and Chester, Frodsham Town Council, Greaves Garden Centre, KDE Ltd. But I think we all owe a big thanks to our Frodsham 4th Scouts leader, Ron Sayle, and the scouts foe which we wouldn’t the brilliant, blooming daffodil displays we see heading in and out of Frodsham in spring.
